It started with a nightly standoff. My daughter, even at two, had strong opinions about her pajamas — the print, the feel, and whether her doll was dressed to match.
Every night felt like wrestling a tiny, but strong, greased octopus into stiff pajamas with little stretch, while we all slowly lost patience with bedtime.
She wanted to match her doll. She wanted softness. She wanted comfort that still felt special.
